Photographing the Ceremony
As a courtesy, a professional photographer will capture each graduate's special moment during the ceremony. Individual portrait photos will be taken of each graduate. Complimentary proofs will be sent to each graduate's permanent address following commencement along with purchase information for additional photos. There is no obligation to purchase photos.
Commencement Garden
The class of 2011 and their guests are encouraged to use the Commencement Garden in front of the Sports Arena as a photographic backdrop on commencement day.
Commencement Ceremony Video 2011
Buffalo State will capture your commencement ceremony on video as a remembrance to share with families and friends. DVDs are $5 each.
As a bonus, you will also receive the "Year in Review" DVD free. It contains many of the great photos taken throughout the year at student events, athletic games, and theater productions, as well as photos from each commencement ceremony. You will be able to view these photos as a slide show and also print them from your home computer.

One-Stop Shopping
The Buffalo State Alumni Association will have alumni merchandise from $2 up, plus cards, gift bags, and roses are available at the Sports Arena before and after each ceremony. Surprise your graduate with a special gift and help support the Alumni Association.
Diploma Frames
Diploma Frames to proudly display your diploma are offered by the Buffalo State Alumni Association. These custom frames are imprinted with "Buffalo State" in gold foil on acid-free mats. Choose from three elegant styles: Prestige Wood, Traditional Wood, and Gold Metal.
Frames are available in the Alumni Affairs Office, Cleveland Hall 305. They also will be sold at the Alumni table outside the Sports Arena on Commencement day.
Barnes & Noble at Buffalo State Bookstore
Graduating? Know a graduate? Do your alma mater proud by sporting Buffalo State colors.
