DO YOU KNOW?
Commencement is the ceremony celebrating your graduation. Diplomas are not distributed at commencement.
Graduation occurs upon approval of your completed degree requirements. Diplomas are mailed up to six weeks following review of your records at the completion of your final term of study.
Bachelor's Graduates may choose the ceremony they wish to attend, either 10:00 am or 2:00 pm if their ceremony choice is still available at the time of commencement registration. Visit Bachelor's Registration & Guest Tickets for details.
Master's/CAS Graduates have their own ceremony at 6:00 pm. Visit Master's Registration & Guest Tickets for details.
DEGREE APPLICATION DEADLINES
For December 2011/January 2012 Graduation:
Bachelor's...September 9, 2011
Master's/CAS...October 1, 2011
For May 2012 Graduation:
These deadlines have passed. Submit degree application immediately if not completed.
Bachelor's...February 3, 2012
Master's/CAS...February 1, 2012
For August 2012 Graduation:
Meeting this deadline assures your name IS INCLUDED in the commencement booklet and/or you WILL receive the commencement informational mailing at your permanent address during spring break.
Bachelor's...February 17, 2012
Master's/CAS...February 1, 2012: This deadline has passed. Submit degree application immediately if not completed.
For August 2012 Graduation:
Using this deadline means your name WILL NOT BE INCLUDED in the commencement booklet and/or you WILL NOT receive the commencement informational mailing but you will be on time in applying for your August degree.
