Financial Aid Resources for International Students
In order to obtain an I-20 Form for your F-1 visa status (a student visa) the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Services requires all international students to show proof of finances for their studies. Unfortunately, Buffalo State College does not offer any type of financial aid or scholarships to international students. However, you may search for private loans and scholarship companies on your own. The following list of websites will help you with your search process:

If you are planning on obtaining a loan, please be aware that as an F-1 student you are permitted to work only 20 hours per week on campus. It may be difficult to pay off the loan if you do not have any other source of income.
