Tuition

Tuition refunds will be processed only if the student officially withdraws through the Registrar's Office. The amount of the refund depends on when the student withdraws. Students who receive permission to withdraw are responsible for payment of tuition according to the following schedule:

Spring and fall semesters:
First week of class: 0 percent
Second week: 30 percent
Third week: 50 percent
Fourth week: 70 percent
After fourth week: 100 percent

Summer Sessions A and B:
First two days: 0 percent
Third day through end of second week: 70 percent
Third week: 100 percent

Summer Session C:
First two days: 0 percent
Third day through end of first week: 65 percent
Second week: 100 percent

Room Rentals

No refunds for room rentals are granted unless students withdraw for circumstances beyond their control.

Board Charges

Refunds are calculated according to college and federal regulations and guidelines. A $20 service charge is deducted from the refund. No refunds are given after the second week of classes during the semester. Freshmen and sophomores who live on campus must participate in the meal plan. Please contact the Campus Dining Services Office, Campbell Student Union 223 for additional information.

Mandatory Fees

These fees are refunded only when registration is canceled within the first week of class: college fee, health fee, athletic fee, and technology fee.

Parking Fees

The parking fee can be refunded within the first two weeks of class upon surrender of the parking permit.

Refunds are sent to the student's nearest address on file: residence hall, local address, or permanent address. If a student has a direct deposit application on file in the Student Accounts Office, refunds are electronically transferred to the student's bank account.
