Yesterday

The Buffalo State Alumni Association can trace its roots back to 1906. Of course, a lot has changed since then. In 1906 the college, then called the Buffalo Normal School, was housed in one three-story Victorian building at Jersey and 13th (now Normal Avenue), and exclusively trained elementary teachers—about 900 students were enrolled.

Today

Currently celebrating its 136th anniversary, Buffalo State now boasts 37 buildings on a 115-acre campus with 136 undergraduate and more than 60 graduate study options. Over 11,000 students are currently working toward becoming Buffalo State alumni.

Tomorrow

What has not changed over the years is the college's commitment to providing a quality educational experience for students and the Alumni Association's dedication to supporting that effort by serving alumni, students, and the college.
