A ribbon-cutting ceremony for Buffalo State College’s Dick Smith Teaching Pavilion will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. Located at the foot of Porter Avenue, the pavilion is named in honor of former Assemblymember Richard Smith who was instrumental in obtaining a legislative appropriation that helped to fund its construction.
