Lecture Series Underscores Women’s Role in Science, Math

Women are still underrepresented in science and mathematics both as faculty members on campuses across the United States and in the science and engineering workforce. Women in Science and Mathematics is an ad hoc campus committee that seeks to address this problem by providing a forum for female scientists in the natural sciences and mathematics to address the campus community.  [more…]

CORTLAND, NY—Gary Luniewski (E. Meadow/E. Meadow) scored his second goald of the game in the 88th minute to force overtime, but Buffalo State (8-6-4) was eventually eliminated on penalty kicks (4-2) by host Cortland (11-6-1) today in the SUNYAC Quarterfinals. Women's soccer player Kelsie Moran (Albany/ Albany) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week for the second time. The senior fashion merchandise major scored the lone goal in the Bengals' 1-0 victory over St. John Fisher in the season finale. National Science Foundation Grant Targets Water Quality in Developing Countries

The freshman criminal justice major tallied a goal and an assist in a 6-1 win over SUNYIT, and added her first career hat trick and an assist in a 7-0 win over Morrisville.
