The freshman paced the Bengals to a fourth-place finish at the SUNYAC Championships with a pair of first-place finishes and new school bests. Buffalo State’s men’s hockey team will host the first home SUNYAC playoff game in the program’s history on Tuesday (Feb. 20) night at 7 p.m. The fourth-seeded Bengals will host No. 5 Fredonia at 7 p.m. in the SUNYAC quarterfinals. Tickets will be available at the door for $5 for the general public, $2 for Buffalo State students and $3 for other students. Men's hockey goaltender Sean Sheehan (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week, after helping the Bengals clinch their second-consecutive SUNYAC playoff berth. The senior criminal justice major recorded his fourth career shutout in a 3-0 win at Brockport on Friday. He made 35 saves, including stopping several breakaways to preserve the victory.
