Pitman, NJ—The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced today that Morrisville State College and the State University of New York at Brockport will become affiliate football members of the NJAC beginning in the 2008-09 academic year. The Buffalo Guitar Society is presenting the eleventh Rantucci International Guitar Festival & Competition from Thursday March 22 through Sunday March 25, 2007. The event is a collaboration between the Buffalo Guitar Society, Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Burchfield-Penney Art Center, Buffalo State College and Rockwell Performing Arts Center. The four-day festival features an International Guitar Competition in two divisions, daily evening concerts, master classes, lectures, ensemble showcase and a vendor's fair. [more…]

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.—Junior Jenelle Orosz (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) became Buffalo State’s first-ever female track & field All-American today at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships at Rose-Hullman Institute of Technology. Women's basketball player Jacey Brooks (Machias/Franklinville) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week. The senior career and technology education major was named Second Team All-SUNYAC last week to cap her collegiate career. Brooks ended her four seasons ranked No. 4 on Buffalo State's all-time scoring list with 1,219 points and is eighth on the rebounding list with 554. [more…]
