Edwards, a sophomore majoring in health and wellness, was a two-time All-American at the NCAA Outdoor Tack & Field Championships. Softball player Jordan Banach (Cheektowaga/ Maryvale) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week. The senior shortstop hit .500 during the SUNYAC Championships, leading the Bengals to the title game, before falling 3-1 to Cortland.
