Nominations Sought for Buffalo State College Alumni Awards

The Buffalo State College Alumni Association seeks nominations for the 2008 Young Alumnus Achievement Award, which will be presented at a special awards reception on September 19, 2008, during Homecoming Weekend, and the 2009 Distinguished Alumnus Award, which will be presented at the Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 16, 2009. Four Buffalo State Hockey Players to Appear in “Love Guru”

Four members of Buffalo State’s men’s hockey team, Travis Whitehead, Joe Curry, Justin Merritt and Cody Cole, will appear in the new hockey-themed film "LOVE GURU" starring Mike Myers, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Alba that will be released nationally by Paramount Pictures on June 20. [more…]
