By participating in departmental exhibits, Art Education students are afforded opportunities to attend and present at state and national conferences for art educators. With state-of-the-art art resources like a computer lab, a partnership agreement with Buffalo Public Schools providing in-service and pre-service teacher training, opportunities for applied research, and practica, students gain valuable, hands-on skills and experience.
Student activities include chapters of the New York State Art Teachers Association and the National Art Education Association. With alumni teaching and working in all 50 states, and many foreign countries, proves, the art education curriculum, facilities, and results are truly world class.
