Buffalo State’s Art Education Department has a national reputation for excellence. Faculty members are active in developing improved methods for teaching art. Articles written by faculty members are published regularly by national publications and in textbooks used in art education methods courses. Artwork created by Buffalo State faculty is housed in national galleries and museums, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Art Institute of Chicago.
