The art education computer laboratory is equipped with software for both commercial and educational use. The campus, which houses Upton Gallery, is located across the street from the world-class Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
Buffalo State College is also home of the Burchfield-Penney Art Center and works closely with the center on many programs and exhibits involving art education majors and area schools. The Art Education Department also has received grants to support a formal, collaborative program with the Buffalo Public Schools.
