The Assessment Committee coordinates assessment activities in each department. This ad hoc committee provides an opportunity for departments to share assessment information and to raise questions about the assessment process.
In 2002 the committee organized assessment activities and assembled departmental assessment portfolios. The portfolios (below) contain the following items:
- Clearly stated goals and objectives for the major
- The courses and activities in the program
- Assessment measures and criteria
- Procedures that exist for revising the program
