Black History Month Film Screening: Their Eyes Were Watching God
Time: 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.

"Black Women in American History and Culture" is this year's theme for Black History celebrations. To launch these, the African and African American Studies Interdisciplinary Unit (School of Natural and Social Sciences) is screening Their Eyes Were Watching God (TV 2005, dir. Darnell Martin; featuring Halle Berry, Ruben Santiago-Hudson and Michael Ealy), based on Zora Neale Hurston's novel of the same title. A list of all events for February 2012 will be published soon.
