In recognition of dedicated service, Buffalo State College confers the title of emeritus to professors, associate professors, and assistant professors in the School of Arts and Humanities who hold that title at the time of their retirement.
In addition to the legacy of intellectual and creative legacy they give the college, emeriti continue to bring pride and prestige to the institution. For that reason, they are afforded the same opportunity as current full-time faculty to list and include biographical profiles on the School of Arts and Humanities Web site.

Each member is responsible for providing his/her biographical data to the Dean's Office. Any professor emeritus who would like to establish a web page should contact Anthony Chase, assistant to the dean, at (716) 878-6326.
