Softball player Jordan Banach (Cheektowaga/ Maryvale) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week. The senior shortstop hit .500 during the SUNYAC Championships, leading the Bengals to the title game, before falling 3-1 to Cortland. Banach, a fine arts major led the team with seven hits and had a double, a homerun and five RBIs. She was also named to the All-Tournament Team.
