Season Preview and Review

What We Are About?

Cheerleading has been an important part of Buffalo State Athletics for many years.

Buffalo State College Cheerleading has competed locally for many years, performing exhibitions at local high schools and colleges. The 2006-2007 season was a banner year for Buffalo State Cheerleading winning four of its six competitions, including the title of New York State Champions and COA All-Girl National Championships. It was Buffalo State’s first New York State title and national title in cheerleading.

Buffalo State Cheerleading is entering the new season with a lot of confidence and experience to draw from. Some of the goals that Buffalo State Cheerleading is setting for the upcoming season include increasing the difficulty of routines and producing a team devoted to hard work, dedication, mental toughness and an overall enthusiasm of being a Buffalo State Student-Athlete. They will be looking to defend their New York State and National Championships.
