Butler fountain all dried up

The Butler Ice Fountain, situated outside the Butler Library of Buffalo State College, has been shut down for almost two years and will remain that way until repairs can be made in summer 2006, said Stan Medinac, associate vice president of Facilities Planning and Institutional Studies.

 

BSC students bring warmer holidays to those in need

Car trunks were packed like Santa’s sleigh, but instead of a sack filled with toys, there were bags stuffed with winter clothes.

 A small group of Buffalo State College students delivered the first bundle of warmth to the Friends of Night People at 10 a.m. on Nov. 11.  The clothes were donated in a winter clothing drive sponsored by BSC’s Social Work Honor Society and Student Social Work Program.

 

The truth about textbooks: Don’t count on buyback to finance the holidays

Artists from all over the Western New York area have been featured at the Burchfield-Penney Art Center www.burchfield-penney.org in a series named 24/12. It showcases 24 artists in 12 months.
