The solid-gold sound of James Brown fills the underground room with a bit of funk.
Combine that with HBO and a few games of pool and what could be better?

The United States Government Game Room in the Campbell Student Unionoffers students a place to unwind.
Because a “game room” wouldn’t be a “game room” without games, the USG offers some of the classics.

Main A ttractions

Kyle Deluca takes aim at one of four dart boards
“I come down here pretty much every day that it’s open,” said 18-year-old Harvey Mosher. “I usually play ping-pong, but sometimes I’ll play pool. It depends what’s open. It gives us something to do.”

Harvey Mosher returns serve to his two opponents.
Not into physical activity? Card and board games are also available.
The USG Game Room also offers a lounge area for any students who may not want to play games.
A big-screen Sony television is the centerpiece of the room’s most comfortable spot. The television is accompanied by two full-size couches, four padded chairs and two coffee tables.

A group of Buffalo State College students relax in the lounge area.
Some even get the feeling they’re at home.
“I come down here to relax, watch the big-screen TV and sit on the couch,” said
20-year-old Kyle DeLuca. “It’s just like I’m at the house… and nobody bothers you.”
However, there are a couple of things that should be made aware to anyone interested in using the game room.
