The Buffalo State College
Alumni Association will host the Alumni Reunion
Weekend July 10-13. Classes of 1943, 1953, 1958,
1963 and the 50 plus club have scheduled various events
throughout the four-day period.
Festivities begin Thursday evening, July 10
with a dinner cruise on the Niagara River aboard the Niagara
Clipper. The cruise leaves from the Erie Basin

Alumni will have the opportunity to meet Muriel
Howard, president of Buffalo State at a special welcome
reception that will be held at her home July 11. Other events
scheduled for that day includes a progressive dinner.
On July 12, the class of 1943 will have a
guided tour of the Buffalo State campus, a class of 43 brunch
at Rockwell Hall and the Art on Wheels display
at the Burchfield-Penney Art Center.
Reunion receptions are planned for the classes
of 1953, 1958 and 1963 on July 12. A special fifties plus
club reception will be held for those alumni celebrating
their 50th class reunion.
To wrap up this special weekend, Rockwell
Quad will be the sight for an all class Chiavetta's
chicken barbeque. The entire family is invited
to this event.
