Pregnant? You are not alone

"Being pregnant and staying in school is not the easiest thing to do," said Jill a freshman at Buffalo State College. "At first, I was scared and did not know what to do."
There are choices pregnant women have . There is no right or wrong choice. Only you can decide which choice is right for you. According to www.ppww.org, there are three basic choices that all pregnant women can make no matter who they are, where they are from or how old they are. Those choices are:
- having the baby and raising it
- having the baby and placing it up for adoption
- ending the pregnancy
These choices may not sound so bad to some people but to a pregnant mother to be, each choice changes their entire life.
"What if I am pregnant?" is a question many students may ask throughout their college years. Early detection is the best option.
"We offer 24-hour nation wide service to those who want their questions asked about pregnancy. Most of our callers range from the ages of 15 to 21, said Cathy F. from the Pregnancy Help-line. All conversations are kept confidential at all times."
To better help decide which choice may be best, www.ppww.org provides a list of questions to ask yourself.
- which choice(s) could I live with?
- which choice(s) would be impossible for me?
- how would each choice affect my everyday life?
- what would each choice mean to the people closest to me?
- what is going on in my life?
- what are my plans for the future?
- what are my spiritual and moral beliefs?
- what do I believe is best for me in the long run?
- what can I afford?
