Late night shuttle allows students more freedom

Buffalo State College students are now ready to travel downtown on Friday and Saturday nights, thanks to the help of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority's late night express service.

“The late night service provides safe, reliable transport for students,” said Dominick Bordonaro, the marketing manager for NFTA.

Armed Services Reunion to be held at Buffalo State College

Buffalo State College is holding an armed services reunion the weekend of Nov. 4 through Nov. 6. The reunion is being held to honor and celebrate the students, faculty, staff and alumni who served in any branch of the military . Full Story

 

 


Student awards available

Ruth Jean, former student at Buffalo State College, won the Minnie and Joe Engel Student Humanitarian Award in 2004. Last year was the first time this award has been offered to students at Buffalo State , and it's back again for the Spring 2005 semester. The recipient will receive a monetary award of $2,500 and a plaque with his or her name on it.

The Newman Scholars' Forum tries for understanding
The Newman Center at Buffalo State College is presenting the Newman Scholars' Forum in an attempt for understanding and tolerance.
