A new game room at Buffalo State College is set to open on April 1 in the Student Union and some students believe there may be other areas of the building that need attention also.
Several students would like to see improvements in campus food services. Elizabeth Chadwick, a 21-year-old sophomore at BSC, said the school could possibly put effort into remodeling , and better quality food.
“It doesn't look appealing, it looks like plastic ,” said Chadwick.
Roger Guarino, chef manager at BSC declined to comment , choosing not to speak about his corporate employer, Sodexho.
Another sophomore at BSC, Rachel Andolina, 19, said school food is too expensive, so she normally chooses not to eat at BSC.
Andolina did feel renovations in the food areas of the Student Union were necessary. “They are the most often used, just the design of them, its old,” said Andolina.
Mary Quince, general manager of Campus Dining Services was unavailable for comment during the last days of February due to monthly bookkeeping and meetings.
