Students looking for new jobs can attend Buffalo State College's 22 nd Annual Summer and Part-Time Job Fair from 11 a.m. through 2 p.m. on March 9 in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall.
The fair is sponsored by BSC's Career Development Center. The free event is a way for students to find part-time jobs interest them.
Student Employment Coordinator Tamara L. McMillan is one of the fair's organizers. She said she expects anywhere from 200 to 450 students to go to this casual job hunt with business recruiters.
“Employers will be accepting applications and conducting informal interviews (with students),” said McMillan.

The employers who are participating in the affair span a large spectrum of diverse job opportunities. An e-mail sent to students by McMillan said there will be employers representing summer camps, business, industry and community service organizations.
Amy Tyrpa, of Federal Express Ground, is just one of the many business representatives who will be attending the fair. Along with interviewing, Tyrpa will be accepting student's resumes . Students who need help improving their resumes can contact the CDC.
“Students can call or visit the CDC and make an appointment to have their resumes reviewed by a counselor ,” said McMillan.
