Buffalo State College’s
SABRE Project is sponsoring a new online
contest to help students prepare for Web-based registration.
The contest, called “Know Your Password,” might
sound goofy; but the grand prize is a reserved parking
space for all of next year, and that’s a seriously
un-goofy reward.
Plus it’s only open to students and entering is easier
than having your friend write your name on an attendance
sheet while you skip class. Just log on to http://bscintra.buffalostate.
edu/accounts, type in your Buffalo State user name then
enter your e-mail password in the field below. Press enter
and that’s all it takes.
Only one person can win the coveted parking space. So if
you don’t win the monumental, life altering, reserved
slab of concrete and painted lines, then you have plenty
of other fun prizes to hold out for.
Such as:
- BSC mouse pads, note cards & mugs
- BSC shirts, sweaters and sweatshirts
- Burchfield-Penny Art Center totes and
posters
- Butler Library vending cards
- Signature Café gift certificates
- Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificates

According to Sharon Cramer, executive director of the SABRE
Project, as of March 25 only 37 students have entered!
When online registration hits
campus April 22, students better know their user names and
passwords.
“We’re encouraging students to enter this now,
because if they don’t know how to log on come registration
time, they’ll be dead in the water,” says Carole
Schaus, associate director of the SABRE Project.
Schaus and other members of the SABRE Team have promoted
the contest by hanging banners in the student union and
mailing letters out to students.
“The letters should come soon,” she says. “Take
a few minutes to enter. You’ve got nothing to lose
and you could win a parking space. I wish I could enter!”
