This number and all of the figures shown were reported by the American Association of University Professors. The average income for the assistant professor is the highest among the 12 SUNY schools. An associate professor at Buffalo State makes about $55,900 a year which is third-highest among SUNY schools. Both Brockport, and Purchase are estimated at a higher rate.

When it comes to a full professor, Buffalo State College Teachers earn on average $67,000 a year, placing them in fifth amongst SUNY schools. Brockport, Old Westbury, Purchase, and New Paltz all have reported higher.
