Miscommunication about USG rules lead to conflict.

United Student Government and the USG-funded organizations should work on their communication to make sure that organizations understand the regulations in place by administration and USG, said Dominique Gabriel, treasurer of Caribbean Students Organization

 

Surviving Buffalo Weather

 

In Tonawanda, the community is sure to have been through a random seasonal change or two in their lives.  Friday, October 13th, many people woke up to a big mess, due to a snowstorm Thursday night. Some locals stuck it out for over a week with candles, and lots of them.             

 

Buffalo State volunteers plants 2,000 daffodil bulbs

 

Hope will again bloom in the spring, along with flowers planted by Buffalo State College students on Oct. 21.

That’s because student volunteers and staff planted 2,000 daffodil bulbs on the West Side that day, instead of the original Oct. 14 Community Service Day, due to unexpected mid-October snowstorm.

Student Union to be renovated
Starting this summer, Buffalo State College plans to start a two-year renovation of the Student Union. This renovation will take place over the next two summers and will change the food services available to Buffalo State students.
