Continued Growth of Research Foundation, CDHS Boosts Buffalo State’s Research Efforts
The Research Foundation of SUNY at Buffalo State College manages millions of research dollars annually. Located in the basement of Bishop Hall, the Research Foundation is a private, nonprofit educational corporation that manages externally funded contracts and grants on behalf of SUNY. And with nearly 500 employees and a $5.5 million annual budget, it outranks the other 12 SUNY university colleges combined in terms of sponsored program support.

Artists and art lovers gathered Sunday in the north gallery of the Burchfield-Penney Art Center in Rockwell Hall to toast the end of the institution’s 41-year run on the Buffalo State College campus and its imminent move to a new home.
Familiar Voices Returning to Local Airwaves
Radio station WECK-AM 1230 launched its new lineup this week with some familiar names behind the microphone. The morning show is anchored by Western New York radio veterans Harv Moore and Tom Donohue. Donohue, whose real name is Tom McCray, is a Buffalo State College professor and longtime radio newsman.
