Partnerships Office Announces 2010 Minigrant Awards

The College and Community Partnerships Office has awarded the following minigrants, totaling $19,808.55, to 12 faculty members to conduct scholarly research and/or publication in conjunction with service to the community. The goal of the initiative is to strengthen current and establish new partnerships that highlight and enhance the college’s targeted areas of expertise. To date the Partnerships Office has awarded 35 minigrants to tenured and tenure-track faculty.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Survey

A survey designed to gather information regarding the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at Buffalo State College is available to all campus constituents at https://survey.itec.suny.edu/opinio/s?s=3667. Information will be collected to better serve campus employees at Buffalo State. The survey will be available through Friday, May 28.

Leist Appointed Distinguished Teaching Professor; Carson Named Distinguished Service Professor

The State University of New York Board of Trustees has approved the appointments of Susan M. Leist, professor of English, to the rank of SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor, and David A. Carson, chair and professor of history and social studies education, to the rank of SUNY Distinguished Service Professor.
