Professional Background
Dr. Lai is a new faculty member at Buffalo State College. Her teaching interests are in the areas of marketing and international business. Dr. Lai holds an MBA and a PhD. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She publishes and presents at marketing academic conferences and has conducted marketing research for various non-profit organizations.
Dr. Lai’s research interests are interdisciplinary and therefore she has presented research at international conferences such as The North American Regional Scientist Council in Toronto, Canada; the International Conference on the Arts in Society in Edinburgh, Scotland; and the Global Conference on Economic Geography in Beijing, China.
Dr. Lai has served as reviewer for the International Journal on the Arts in Society. She is a member of Association of Collegiate Marketing Educators, Atlantic Marketing Association, and the Association of Marketing Theory and Practice.
