Professional Background
Dr. Littman, an associate professor, has been at Buffalo State College since 1986. He received his Ph.D. and previously taught marketing at Ohio State University. His teaching areas include business ethics, international business, leadership, marketing, and business/marketing education. During the summers of 1993-1997 and 2002-2005 he was invited as a guest professor in Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands.
Dr Littman has been actively involved with student services as Buffalo State's first Faculty-in-Residence from 1992-1995 and as one of twelve campus FAME (Freshman Advisement for Major Entry) advisers. He was Business Department Chair from 1998 to 2001.
Dr. Littman has numerous publications in business and business/marketing education including the Journal of Business and Marketing, Journal of Private Enterprise Education, and Great Ideas for Teaching Marketing and has served as a research reviewer and discussant. His research efforts have been recognized by his peers with two major research awards in marketing education. He was named a Buffalo State Teacher-Scholar Fellow in April 2002 and has been selected for Who’s Who Among American Teachers.
Dr. Littman is a member of the Williamsville School Board, a member of the Board of Directors of Meals on Wheels for Western New York, and an active youth sports coach in basketball and baseball.
