Professional Background
Lynne Scalia earned an MBA at Niagara University and is an associate professor in the Business Department. Professor Scalia is the program director of the Business Department internship program and teaches business communication. Her current research focus is on computer-mediated communication and business communication applications of the World Wide Web. Recent publications have appeared in the Business Communication Quarterly and Computers in Schools. Professor Scalia was the associate project director for two grants sponsored by the Department of Education: the Business and International Education Program and the TriRed Program for North American Mobility in Higher Education. Presently, Professor Scalia is a Sam Walton Fellow and co-adviser for Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE).
