Grant Street Global Voices Summer Arts Program:
The Buffalo State Community Academic Center, located at 214 Grant Street, is offering a summer arts and literacy program taught by Buffalo State students and teaching artists Ismail and Co. The Grant Street Global Voices Summer Arts Program includes exciting activities ranging from musical, visual, and multimedia arts. The program is offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. K-4th grade will meet from 12:30pm-2:30pm and 5th - 8th grade will be meet from 3:00pm-5:00pm. Multimedia Stories: Tuesdays, Grades K-4th 12:30-2:30pm, Grades 5th - 8th3:00-5:00pm
In Multimedia Stories youth will make art using different artistic processes such as tape casting and animation.
Visual Stories: Wednesdays, Grades K-4th 12:30-2:30pm, Grades 5th - 8th 3:00-5:00pm
In Visual Stories youth can transform music into visual art.
Digital Stories: Thursdays, Grades K-4th 12:30-2:30pm, Grades 5th - 8th3:00-5:00pm
In Digital Stories youth will write, film, and edit their own original words.
