CUSTOMER SERVICE

To report an out of service elevator, contact Customer Service, ext. 6111, or online at http://workrequest.buffalostate.edu noting which car is malfunctioning (left or right/odd or even), if someone is stuck in it and what floor it's on, if stuck. Customer Service will call the contractor to make the necessary repairs and if necessary, contact University Police, ext. 6333, to assist if someone is stuck inside.


If you are trapped in an elevator, use the emergency telephone to call for assistance, or use the emergency alarm to signal for help.


Do NOT attempt to free yourself or anyone else from an elevator.


Follow the same process to retrieve objects lost in elevator shafts.
