Record Retention: How to Dispose of Records
- Box up records to be shredded. Please mark "To be shredded" on the boxes.
- Fill out a record retention form (to request a form contact Jill Powel at x3561), and send to Finance and Management GC 507.
- Call Procurement Services (x4113) and request a purchase order for GLR shredding.
- Procurement Services will then contact Business Services, who will then submit a work order for the Moving Department to pick up the records.
- The department requesting the record shredding will receive a copy of the work order via e-mail.
- The shredding is witnessed by the Moving Supervisor - Joe Kurdziel.
