Ms. Del Monte is a Research Support Specialist at the Center for Health and Social Research. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Medaille College. She is currently working toward her Masters of Science in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration at the State University of New York College at Buffalo.
Ms. Del Monte assists in multiple research projects involving data entry and analysis through community-based collaborations and governmental agencies such as Prevention Focus, Inc., Restoration Society, Inc., and the Mental Health Association of Erie County, Inc. She has experience in telephone subject recruitment, researching hard-to-find study subjects, and the development and organization of a new customer database system for Restoration Society, Inc. In addition, Ms. DelMonte has assisted in the training and supervision of student interns over a two-year span for a county-funded telephone recruitment survey.
Since 2011, Ms. Del Monte has participated twice in the Student Research and Creativity Celebration at Buffalo State College, presenting two research topics:
- Evaluation of Px2010 Initiative: "Underage Drinking: It's Everybody’s Problem!" - focused on increasing the impact of substance abuse prevention services in Erie County, NY.
- Implementation and Evaluation of the “Got Health?” Program - focused on enhancing one’s health knowledge and positive health behaviors.
