Background and Job Description

Mr. Lindner is a Health Educator and Research Analyst at the Center for Health and Social Research, where he focuses on projects to improve community health through prevention programs directed at changing individual behaviors and community-level factors. He received both his Masters and Bachelors Degrees in the field of Health Promotion and Wellness from the State University College at Buffalo.

Mr. Lindner has experience with projects at Western New York area schools, corporations, and communities where his responsibilities include assessing, planning, and evaluating prevention and health promotion programs. He holds three national certifications (Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Certified Wellness Program Coordinator (CWPC), and Certified Wellness Program Manager (CWPM). Mr. Lindner has the knowledge, skills, and specific experience with servicing at-risk youth, as well as a track record of implementing programs in Buffalo’s West Side community. He also teaches in the Health and Wellness Department at Buffalo State College.

Most recently, in August 2012, Mr. Lindner became a contracted National Trainer for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Training Tools for the Healthy Schools program.
