Background and Job Description

Ms. Del Monte is a Research Support Specialist and the Intern Coordinator at the Center for Health and Social Research. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Medaille College. She earned her Masters of Science degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration at the State University of New York College at Buffalo.

Ms. Del Monte is a Research Support Specialist and the Intern Coordinator at the Center for Health and Social Research. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Medaille College. She earned her Masters of Science degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration at the State University of New York College at Buffalo.

Since 2011, Ms. Del Monte has presented three research topics in the Student Research and Creativity Celebration at SUNY Buffalo State:

  1. Tracking Health: Impact of Substance Abuse Prevention Activities (2014) – Assessing prevention impact based on actual behaviors focusing on mental health and substance abuse of 14-20 year olds in Erie County, NY.
  2. Implementation and Evaluation of the “Got Health?” Program (2012) - Focusing on enhancing one’s health knowledge and positive health behaviors.
  3. Evaluation of Px2010 Initiative: “Underage Drinking: It’s Everybody’s Problem!” (2011) - focused on increasing the impact of substance abuse prevention services in Erie County, NY.
