Ms. Fleetwood is the Research Administrator
at the Center for Health and Social Research. She received her
undergraduate degree in Sociology from Buffalo State College, and
her certification as a Professional of Human Resources from the
Human Resources Certification Institute. She has a comprehensive background
of over 10 years in scientific administration, budget management,
human resource administration, public relations, and special events planning.
Ms. Fleetwood's major job responsibilities include providing
oversight and management to the Center's research projects in aspects relating
to human resources, budgeting, and overall Center operations. She coordinates all
grant and IRB submissions for the Center, as well as overseeing the management of
SSP records and materials. In addition, Ms. Fleetwood oversees website materials
and creates the Center's newsletter.
In addition to her regular job duties, Ms. Fleetwood serves as the President of the
Buffalo State College Child Care Board of Directors, and is a member of its executive
and finance committees. She is also a member of the local and national chapters of the
Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and has recently teamed up with Dr. Robert
Delprino from the Buffalo State Psychology Department to serve as a Buffalo State
SHRM Student Chapter Advisor.
