Branching Out

Buffalo State is the only institution of higher education in the world that offers a master of science degree in creativity studies.

As such, we offer resources to our students that are exclusive, comprehensive, and unique to our program.

Creative Studies Library
Visitors from around the world come to Buffalo State College to examine our extensive collection of creativity related literature—the largest of its kind in the world. This non-circulating collection of books and other materials is known as the Creative Studies Library and is located within the E. H. Butler Library. It contains almost 6,000 books, dissertations, and rare archival material relating to creativity.

Information Station Resource Room
A wide selection of books, journals, and theses projects are available for reference in the Creative Studies Information Station Resource Room, Chase Hall 226.

Alumni Connections
Our direct contact and continuing relationships with our alumni provides a valuable resource for new and current students. Our alumni group, Creative Connections, provides a professional framework for continued networking and creative development among students, alumni, staff and faculty. The group also provides valuable insights and consultation for current student and recent graduates. Visit the Creative Connections Network blog for current information about Creative Connections members.
