The Buffalo State College Chemistry Department is well-equipped with modern instrumentation suitable for most aspects of chemical analysis, forensic investigation, and material characterization. The following instruments are currently in use in undergraduate teaching and research laboratories, and the department regularly acquires new instrumentation.
