Introduction
The Buffalo State College Child Care Center is a non-profit, on-site child care center located at Buffalo State College. The Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, and is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, which is a division of the National Association for Education of Young Children.
The Center is funded through parent fees, Buffalo State College, SUNY, the United Students' Government of Buffalo State College,and Family Benefits Committee.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Buffalo State College Child Care Center is to provide quality, affordable child care for the families of students, faculty and staff of the college, as well as families of other NYS employees and community members.
Board of Directors
There is a Buffalo State College Child Care Center Board of Directors that determines and controls all fiscal and policy matters pertaining to the Buffalo State College Child Care Center. The composition of the Board is reflective of the Buffalo State College employee unions, Buffalo State College student government, and consumers of the services(parents and alumni parents).
