CHILD CARE CENTER

MEALS AND NUTRITION

Meals and Nutrition

The Buffalo State College Child Care Center serves three (3) meals per day including breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.  Each meal is prepared under the CACFP ( Child and Adult Care Food Program) guidelines to assure nutritional value.  Our menu is based upon a four week rotation and is posted for the parents to see here.

For infants, parents are required to provide all prepared formula, cereal, and when appropriate , junior food jars.  Once a child is able, he/she will be fed from the regular menu.

Any variation in diet is permitted only in accord with a physician's written order or for religious purposes. If this is the case, it is the responsibility of the parent to provide alternate meals for their child.

Please do not send your child to the center with treats unless you have checked with the teacher first.

Any food that is brought in to the Center must clearly state on the ingredients label that it does not contain peanuts or peanut products.

Thank you for your cooperation.
