As the Buffalo Niagara Convention and Visitors Bureau web site states "You don't have to spend a lot of money to enjoy yourself in Buffalo!" There are events and attractions that appeal to the entire family.
During the month of April, you may want to explore the following:
Burchfield Art Center 40th Anniversary Exhibition - located in Rockwell Hall on the Buffalo State College campus, the Burchfield-Penney Art Center, the only museum devoted to the art and vision of Charles Ephraim Burchfield (1893-1967), celebrates its 40th anniversary in December 2006.
Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society - located adjacent to the Buffalo State College campus. Buffalo and Erie played important roles in advancing human rights in the 19th and 20th centuries. Many of those advances have had national and international significance.
Frank Lloyd Wright Darwin D. Martin House Complex - Frank Lloyd Wright's 1904 masterwork is currently under restoration. All tours of the Complex are docent-led and reservations are strongly encouraged.
And of course, Niagara Falls!
