The Daily
The Daily is an electronic newsletter created by faculty and staff for faculty and staff at Buffalo State and managed by College Relations. Providing a centralized information source, it is distributed via our listserve at 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, when the college is open. The Bulletin
The Bulletin is an electronic newsletter that contains official announcements and other information of importance to the college community and is published most Thursdays during the academic year. Articles must be approved by the president, provost, senior adviser to the president for equity and campus diversity, College Senate chair, or a vice president.
Electronic Bulletin Board/Forums
College Relations has made an electronic bulletin board available for faculty and staff at http://wwwu.buffalostate.edu/fsbbs/. The board can be used to share ideas, discuss, and debate any topics. Electronic bulletin boards have proved to be effective communication tools in other organizations, and ours has potential if promoted and used by opinion leaders on campus.
Electronic Suggestion Box
Through a submission form on Buffalo State Web site, anyone may send a message, anonymously if they so choose, to the president of the college.
Campuswide E-mail
The e-mail distribution list for all faculty and staff is not available for general use. It is used by the president, provost, and vice presidents or their designees to convey emergency information to the campus, information about the campus network and other immediate technology issues, and the deaths of colleagues and emeriti colleagues.
