MARKETING AND PROMOTION

To ensure consistent and accurate information, all paid advertising on behalf of the college should be created and placed in cooperation with the College Relations Office. The office can assist with discounts and contacts in the industry.

As with all communications, we urge people to carefully consider their audience and objectives before committing to an advertising campaign. Mass media advertising (metropolitan newspapers, radio, television, outdoors) is expensive. Ads placed in these mediums must be repeated many times in order to make any meaningful impact on your target audience.

Print and Outdoor Advertising

From a billboard to a small ad in a local newspaper, the College Relations Office can prepare professionally written and designed advertising and can provide cost estimates.

Broadcast Advertising

College Relations works with departments to create broadcast-quality advertising for television and radio in partnership with outside firms. These projects require ample lead time to secure vendors, develop concepts, and produce high-quality products.
