The College Senate is governed by its By-Laws. The By-Laws describe the structure and procedures to be used for campus governance. Any changes in the By-Laws must first be approved by the Senate, then by all non-student voting members of SUNY Buffalo State, and then approved by the President. Amendments to the By-Laws occur fairly infrequently; a list of changes appears at the end of the By-Laws.
