COLLEGE SENATE

ALL ABOUT THE SENATE

The College Senate  is comprised of the President of the college (non-voting); the Provost of the college (non-voting); seven (7) at-large members of the faculty and professional staff; six (6) members of the professional staff; six (6) members from each of the four schools; one (1) member from the library faculty; one (1) member from the support staff; 12 students; two (2) University Faculty Senate Senators; and two (2) non-voting members appointed by the College President.

In addition to an Agenda Committee, there are eight Standing Committees of the Senate: Curriculum, Instruction and Research, Academic Standards for Students, Faculty/Staff Welfare, By-Laws and Elections, Budget and Staff Allocation, Student Welfare, and Academic Plan.
